Mental Health Services

About US

Mayflower Clinic was formed by a group of successful immigrants who made Wichita their home in response to the economic crisis of 2008-2009, where thousands of Wichitan lost their jobs and needed access to primary medical care.

Our mission is to provide quality mental health care to working uninsured adults so they can continue to be productive members of the community and be healthy in mind, body and spirit.

OUR TARGET POPULATION

The mission of the Mayflower Mental Health Program is to provide crisis mental health care to the underserved communities and utilizing an approach with PCP/integration. Our founder’s vision is to offer nonrestricted limited outpatient mental health services to disadvantaged individuals that are seeking help during a crisis and are non-violent.

We are working closely with public health officials and community partners to ensure access to mental health services are available to as many members of the community as possible. Our number one goal is to make sure each one of our patients finds a path to wellness and gets home safely.

Our ideal patient is someone between the ages of 18-65, who is employed, recently unemployed or self-employed and cannot afford to purchase private insurance.

In order to make the Clinic accessible to the largest portion of the population, we are open at times when other health care facilities are not open. We operate on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-5pm by appointment only
